Hello Everyone, Alyssa here. I’m going to be very real for a minute with everyone. I’m tired. I’ve been working a lot recently, while dealing with health issues. That being said, I am taking some time off from April 27th to May 4th to recover, both mentally and physically.
Pet Sitter Burn Out is a very real thing, and I want to avoid it getting worse. My incredible staff is stepping up to make sure we can cover as many of the visits we can.
I appreciate you all and never want to let any of you down. I’ve been sick on and off, and hospitalized twice, so I think I need to listen to my body and take a break. I will be back, and I will still be reachable via the TTP portal. As always, please do not call or text me unless it’s absolutely an emergency because I won’t answer you that way.

I will be setting up a new number for ACS as well, so once that’s done everyone will get that number and it will only be active during our office hours. So, I will no longer be answering work related calls/texts on my personal cell phone.

Good morning! Alyssa and Neil are still dealing with a family emergency. Those of you who remember Jon, he was Alyssa’s assistant for a time, and is her brother, is in the hospital. The family will be with him today and unavailable for visits.

However, Aya, is available today for visits between 10am-2:30pm so if you need a visit in that time frame, let us know as soon as you can.

Very Important Announcement:

There are dates coming up which Alyssa will NOT be available. They are currently blocked off in the portal, so you cannot book on those dates. Alyssa will have to enter the visits in manually for you.

The dates are as follows:

April 18-22
April 27-May 4

If you would like to book those dates for your pets, please message through the portal and let us know so we can see if Aya, Bree, Neil, or other staff members might be available to cover your visits. There will be no overnights offer for those dates, just visits. Please let us know as soon as possible! Thank you!

National Pet Sitter Week is first full week of March (2-8)! And that Wednesday the 5th is Thank Your Pet Sitter Day! But truthfully, we want to thank you because without you, we wouldn’t be pet sitters! So thank you from the Critter Sitter Family!

Due to the snow and icy roads, all morning & afternoon visits having be cancelled for today (12/21/24). Night visits are still scheduled, unless conditions worsen. Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe & happy Winter!

Just a reminder: We are NOT available Christmas Eve & Christmas/Hanukkah! We have decided to give all of our staff the holiday off to be with their families. Alyssa’s family is visiting from Canada, so she too, will be unavailable these days. She doesn’t get to see them often, so she wants to spend time with them! Thank you for your understanding! We are working up to December 23rd and resuming work December 26th! Happy Pawildays!

We are fully booked for Thanksgiving! Unfortunately we will not be able to take on anymore jobs! Thank you for your understanding!

Wow! You guys are amazing! We’ve had such an influx of new clients that we’re almost out of available walkers and sitters for the rest of the year because we’re getting completely booked! We are so very grateful for everyone who chooses ACS! We are working hard to fit everyone in and get more walkers so we can accept all your requests! Please be patient and we’re sorry if we’re unavailable for you! If you have an idea of when you need visits please don’t wait to send them thru the portal!

Alyssa will be taking some time off from October 27th-31st. She will be unavailable for walks, visits, and overnights during this time. She’s been working as much as possible during her recovery from surgery and the complications, and car accident. She just needs a break for a little bit.

Aya & Bree will do their walks on Monday & Wednesday but their availability is limited and mostly booked already.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but thank you all for being so understanding and supportive during this difficult time for Alyssa. She appreciates you all! Alyssa will return on Friday November 1st.

Hello everyone! Alyssa had her wisdom teeth out October 1st and has been having complications since, she’s been in the hospital, had more procedures done, and was also in a car accident yesterday. So with that said- she’s already completely booked from 7am-10pm tomorrow (10/12) and Sunday (10/13) she will NOT be taking anymore walks. She needs to recover. Thank you for your understanding!
